Sir Howard Stringer, the Chief Executive of Sony Welsh has hinted a bit bout it in one of his statement by uttering that Japanese mega corporation is about to release an Android slate very soon. In fact it has been said that before the summer gets end you will be playing with the latest tablet device from Sony.
Though the time period is very short and could create a tight deadline but our sources says that Sony has already started working on it and will soon launch the Play Station inspired SI and unusual folding S2.These two widgets will be running on the platform of Google's Android 3.0 operating system. Honeycomb with version 3.0 has particularly been derived for the functioning of tablet devices in addition with the huge screen as well as super fast and powerful processor. Honeycomb was first noticed on the Motorola Xoom and now it will come featured with many slate devices this year.
Sony has always been noticed to adopt the most advanced technology. This Japanese giant has been noticed recently to adopt the micro SD cards in the digital camera.Many of the mobile phones from Sony Ericsson has been produced by using open source operating system of Google.
