A Sneak-Peak into HTC Hero:

Design: When it comes to overall design and plan, the device is very much an evolved product. When compared to other similar products released previously, such as G1 and MyTouch, the general features such as size of the display, resolution, button placement, size and weight are like any other HTC phones. In the same way as the previous devices, this set contains a number of hardware buttons on the chin of the phone. The face of the device also has a trackball in this area which offers you easy navigation experience. The volume button is present at the side of the screen while the 3.5 mm jack is located at the top. The design of the set is something which catches attraction and it looks very sophisticated in the white avatar.

Screen: The 3.2 inch display on the Hero is quite esoteric and uses a scratch resistance material that protects many of the high end smart phones such as iPhone 3GS. It can surely repel dirt and other sticky stuffs that spoil the screen of your device. When it comes to color and lucidity, the Hero's LCD is second to none. When you scroll through the device, you hardly see any blurring however we noted a bit less blurring while coiling through long pages and big images. This was a problem on some of the other Android phones lately. There is a black bordering around the length and breadth of the display that looks nice to see.

Camera: The device boasts a 5 MP camera that is laden with features such as autofocus and geo-tagging among others. The set offers a nice shooting experience and does beat the competition with its more than capable camera. The set also allows you to do video recording at 15 fps with the help of this camera. The software part of it has also been fine-tuned as taking snaps is very quick experience and without any glitch. However, like many other phone cameras this device also does not offer very lively color pictures that are pleasant to eyes.

Android Power: The device is an Android running set, it however, has worked quite a bit on it to change the looks and feel of the device. The company has called it's work on the UI as Sense which is really a wonderful experience to have. This HTC Sense UI sits on the Vanilla Android OS like an icing on the cake and offers an experience that is a never-miss-it affair. The company has worked on almost all facet of Android and it has spent a lot of time and resources super-fining the software for the Hero. Whether it's notification area or the dialer, the Hero makes it a never-forgettable experience to have.

Other Features: The device leaves its mark in other areas as well. One noteworthy feature of this set has been widely reported ability that it can access multiple exchange accounts, it has been a feature that was not found on many other Android devices. Another important feature is that, the HTC Hero has ability of pulling together social networking data from a plethora of sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr at various places on the phone, and it also let you to share and transfer multimedia messages across devices.

Conclusion: So, what do we conclude? Does the HTC hero is the real hero of the smartphone market? Has it lived up to our expectations? It truly had! HTC has done a fair job with the handset by proportionally distributing every crucial attribute of a smartphone. The fancy of linking together with so many social networks is truly a boon for social butterflies. In addition, the Sense Interface of the phone is truly incredible with its ability to customize the device so easily. This interface will allow you to completely adjust the phone according to your needs. I guess that's quite a smart bargain!
